Inventory Chair // Awards Chair
Nnennaya Udochu is a Systems Engineer at Intel with a background in Power Delivery and addressing low power optimization issues on customer platforms. She has a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University and a MSc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas, Arlington. Nnennaya has served on the board for SWE Columbia River Section as the Newsletter Chair in FY’18 and is currently the Inventor Chair. She enjoys travelling, runs a fashion blog focused on positivity that encourages women in STEM related fields and their daily lifestyles. Scholarship Chair
Irina has been engaged with Columbia River Section leadership team as VP of Outreach, then VP of Collegiate Relations and now as a Scholarship Chair. Professionally, Irina is an Environmental Engineer at
Intel focusing on modeling and forecasting of air and wastewater emissions for Intel sites globally to ensure environmental compliance. Prior to her engineering position in the industry, Irina conducted research in academia, in topics ranging from environmental microbiology to biosensing platforms. Her last academic endeavor was a postdoc in Applied Physics at New York University, researching sustainable waste management solutions. As a passionate conservationist and engineer, Irina enjoys giving back by being actively engaged with engineering and scientific organizations and societies. |
Data Officer
Coral Jean is a senior member of SWE and has been a member since February 1981. She continues to be active in SWE because of the STEM Outreach opportunities. She thinks that it is important to introduce children to STEM. Currently she is responsible for maintaining the section database. She is a retired Process Control Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Her first college degree is in Biology (Microbial Genetics). She worked in cancer research at the Primate Center in Aloha for several years before returning to school to obtain an engineering degree.

Bylaws Chair
Stephanie is passionate in using data to drive technological and sustainability solutions. As a R&D Yield Analysis Engineer at Intel, she analyzes production data to identify patterns and drive decisions that are critical to the development and manufacturing of the next-generation logic technologies. Prior to her current role, she was a technical lead ensuring environmental compliance along every step of the microprocessor manufacturing process. Stephanie and her team created a relational database to track all the chemicals used in the process and their impacts to the environment and applied this knowledge to develop predictive models and compute long-range projections to assess compliance risks globally. Without her work, Intel's factories would not be qualified to manufacture. Stephanie holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where she first became involved with SWE. Stephanie enjoys giving back to the engineering community and helping young women engineers to pursue their passions in STEM!

Marketing/ Social Media Chair
Ingrid Liao is currently a Technology Development Engineer at Intel Corporation, with an MS in Materials Science and Engineering and BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Previously she had served on the board of her university’s SWE, IEEE, HKN, and AWIS chapters, supporting STEM education and programs for the underrepresented and youth. While focusing on her highly technical career path, she has parallel interests in creative productions and visual arts. At Intel, Ingrid founded Art Hour and co-produce The Kitchen Circuit, both virtual creative learning and story-telling programs for employees. During her free time, Ingrid enjoys hot yoga, traveling, and chasing waterfalls. Ingrid has been serving SWE CRS for two years now leading marketing and chapter branding strategies, and has recently joined SWE's Leadership Coaching Committee (LCC).

Ellen is a Product Line Manager in the Internet of Things Group at Intel and recently moved to Oregon. She is a continuous learner and has earned both her MS of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and her MBA from the University of Washington while working full time. When not working or learning, Ellen can be found in her garden, backpacking with her husband, playing board games, or out running. This is Ellen’s first year serving in a role for CRS SWE.

Kari is a Water Resources Manager at Mead & Hunt. She specializes in stormwater management and environmental compliance employing creativity and critical thinking to collaboratively solve complex problems.She enjoys establishing relationships with strong teaming partners, participating in professional organizations to expand her technical knowledge and connecting with clients. Kari is active in groups fostering the growth of engineering and science fields through involvement with STEM related activities.

Aditi Gadre has completed M.S. in Electrical Engineering. Aditi is currently working in Intel Corporation as a Product Owner in IT group. She has a wide range of experience ranging from Manufacturing to IT. In her 15 years of professional work, Aditi is known for her Leadership skills, Results Oriented mindset, and her collaboration with stakeholders. She has received many awards, including Divisional Recognition Award at Intel Corporation. Aditi lives in Oregon, and in her free time likes to read, go out for biking, and to travel with family to explore new places.

Dhyuti Ramadas

Dhyuti is a software engineer at Collins Aerospace, and has a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has a special interest in developing software to understand the impact of human factors on pilots. Within her company, she is involved in STEM outreach efforts to introduce K-12 students to different engineering disciplines. Her hobbies outside of work include hiking, rock climbing and yoga.

Carmen Davis

Carmen Davis is an R&D Engineer for Nike Footwear Materials Innovation. Carmen joined Nike in September of 2019 after graduating from North Carolina State University with degrees in Chemical and Textile Engineering. During college, she was a coach for Science Olympiad and volunteered with STEM outreach groups for underrepresented elementary and middle school students. Outside of work, Carmen enjoys running, biking, exploring Oregon’s trails and parks, and cooking!

Advocacy Chair
Yen Kha is Senior Data Quality Application Engineer at Nike. She has a dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Statistics and Mathematics, and Psychology at the University of New Mexico. She has over 12 years of experience in data and analytics; and over 3 years in Machine Learning. She enjoys being technically creative and solution-oriented when it comes to solving complex engineering solutions at work or outside of work. She is a self-driven learner at heart, and a self-taught coder and technologist. Yen gives credit to what Aristotle once quoted: “the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know.” Yen enjoys keeping herself busy outside of work to continue driving, contributing and empowering Women in STEM. She has served in numerous leadership roles for both the Nike’s Engineering Forum and Women’s of STEM and Friends, and is currently the MC and Host for the Nike’s Engineering Forum. She is also a speaker and mentor for the 360mentor non-profit organization for under-privileged students. In her leisure time, she is passionate about traveling to remote places around the world to explore mountains for big wall rock climbing, ice climbing and trail running. Her most recent adventure was in Oman (just before pandemic) exploring one of the few largest caves in the world, rappelling almost 150m (almost 492ft) into the pit of darkness, and experienced her first most up close encounter to stalactites and stalagmites! She also likes to perfect her baking skills, and loves healthy food experimentation. |
Susan McDermott

Susan McDermott is founder and principal of Next Target, a Portland-based consulting firm that helps manufacturers scale their production and engineering operations to self-fund their growth. Susan taps her mechanical engineering degree from MIT, her Master Black Belt certificate in Lean Six Sigma from UL, and her Engineering VP experience from IDEX to couple analytics with real-world experience and find practical solutions for her clients. In her spare time, Susan enjoys playing soccer, vegetable gardening, and reading.

Develop and execute the section’s membership growth and retention plan. Plan the Fall Membership Kick-off meeting to be held in September. Welcome new members to the section with welcome email/packet. Send membership renewal reminders. Reach out to members to find out what kinds of events they are interested in to engage non-active members. Create new structure to track active members & reward those that attend, donate, fundraise, etc.

Organize section meet-ups at local and annual conferences, gather attendee interest, keep the section up to date with deadlines and any other needed conference planning information.

Identify awards that individuals and the section can apply for, then nominate those individuals and the section for those awards. This can be split up between multiple people to apply for the following four award opportunities: WE Local, Annual Conference, SWENext, and External Awards.

Determine which section events have potential to receive PDG funding and apply for the funding. Work with section leadership to develop events that could receive PDG funding.
